Telecom Foundation Enterprise ERP Transformation

Telecom Foundation, Islamabad is an elite organization engaged in GPON fiber infrastructure development in partnership with PTCL, large-scale solar system deployments in the corporate sector, and advanced initiatives such as IoT and Safe City projects with the Government. In addition, the organization operates schools and healthcare facilities across Pakistan and runs a corporate training institute.

All these diverse business verticals required seamless integration and centralized control from the head office. Although a leading Odoo partner had been engaged for over a year, the implementation failed to deliver the required outcomes.

Zaryans Consulting took over the project and initiated a comprehensive GAP Analysis to identify shortcomings in the existing implementation. Based on this assessment, a strategic and phased roadmap was proposed to resume and successfully complete the ERP implementation, aligning it with Telecom Foundation’s operational complexity and governance needs.

Project Scope & Modules

The scope of this project covered the complete digital transformation of Telecom Foundation’s diverse operations through a unified Odoo ERP platform. The implementation included end-to-end tendering and bidding management, CRM with opportunity tracking, activity logging, and document management, along with RFQ-based BOQs, quotations, sales orders, and automated invoicing. Core operational areas such as project management, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, subcontracting, warehousing, and inventory control were fully integrated. The solution also encompassed specialized systems for education management, hospital management, and online and on-site corporate training programs. To support performance monitoring and strategic decision-making, business-facet-wise BI dashboards, sales target-based evaluations, KPI-driven employee appraisals, and comprehensive customer support portals were implemented. In addition, accounting, payroll, attendance, and leave management were seamlessly incorporated to ensure financial accuracy, workforce efficiency, and centralized governance across all business units.
